In this 1975 photo by the late, great Phil Cecolla, we find Bruce Springsteen joined on the downstairs couch (Yes… That famous downstairs couch!) by David Lindley & Jackson Browne… Just chillin’ out… Talking music… Dreaming about their futures….

    If you check the photo you may see the lump left on David’s forehead. He bumped his head on the top of the front door frame over Labor Day. Old house with small door.

    It was a long way from Kansas City to Bryn Mawr and the best minimum wage job you in the universe.

      Excellent information Ernie! Thanks for adding it… (PS – For those who don’t know Ernie, he was one of the doormen ‘extraordinaire’ for the Main Point… He worked there every night from August 1974 until August 1975 and then on the weekends for several years thereafter… The man paid his MP dues & got to see some incredible shows along the way… More of his recollections on this website as we move forward!)
