The song, completed on May 20, 2011, is a protest piece about those who profited the most from the events leading up to the 2008 financial meltdown—and those who have profited “big time” from its taxpayer bailout aftermath. Coincidentally, HBO Films is now broadcasting a movie titled Too Big To Fail, which is based on Andrew Ross Sorkin’s best selling book. The film details the men and women that held the fate of the world’s economy in their hands for a few weeks at the end of 2008. It premiered on Monday, May 23.
